Applied Statistical Data Analysis Using SPSS
Program Overview
This intensive 2-day program is designed to provide participants with hands-on training in statistical data analysis using SPSS. The course covers both Univariate and Multivariate analysis, with a balance of theoretical foundations and practical applications.
Through guided exercises and real-world case studies, participants will learn how to:
- Prepare and code datasets,
- Conduct hypothesis testing,
- Apply reliability and validity tests,
- Perform correlation, regression, and cluster analyses, and
- Interpret statistical outputs for research and decision-making
Duration: 2 Days (14 hours)
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Entry Requirements
- Basic understanding of statistics and research methods.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or similar data entry tools.
- No prior knowledge of SPSS is required, but advantageous.
Target Audience
This program is suitable for:
- Researchers, academicians, and postgraduate students conducting surveys or research projects.
- Data analysts and professionals handling quantitative datasets.
- Healthcare, social science, and business professionals who need to analyze data for reporting and decision-making.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Prepare and code data for SPSS analysis.
- Apply univariate techniques (frequencies, normality, reliability, validity).
- Test hypotheses using t-tests, chi-square, ANOVA, and non-parametric methods.
- Perform multivariate analyses (linear, logistic, and hierarchical regressions).
- Conduct discriminant and cluster analyses for classification and segmentation.
- Interpret statistical outputs and present meaningful findings.
